The Walton Fourth of July Bash

The boys and I headed up to the Staunton Turkey Farm for some Grammy and Poppy time. Uncle Greg and friends were able to meet up with us there on the fifth. Working around the rain's schedule we were able to get in to the pool several times. Can't complain about the rain... we got a rare moment of a beautiful rainbow.

We didn't actually celebrate with fireworks until the night of the fifth. The display ended quickly when Grammy and Poppy's dog, Marley ran away scared of the noise! (He went missing for almost a week! He is safely back home now!)

Florida Fun

The boys and I flew down to Florida to visit my parents for a week in June. We were surprised when Uncle Brent was able to join us for several days also. We enjoyed swimming, golfing and even a little fishing!

Uncle Brent kept the boys busy by "launching" them into the pool. The boys never seemed to get tired of it!

We enjoyed a HOT Miami morning at the Miami Seaquarium.

Colonel decided to make homemade ice cream with the help of Trey. The ice cream, Gran Daddy Whiskers was delicious!
